I think I'll kick this blog off by showing the kids of things I make!
I love working with ink and watercolors! I often create my abstract ink drawings by simply spacing out and letting the lines fall where they may. I look to the people around me for inspiration.
The piece to the left is a 6 x 6 inch drawing that was inspired by a friend of mine who writes me letters. It's part of a larger series of 16 small drawings.
The photo to the bottom right is an example of the type of jewelry I design. I enjoy working with unconventional and recycled materials in my jewelry, and the necklace pendant to the right was created with "upcycled" paint swatches.
I never create the same piece of jewelry twice - each one of my pieces is absolutely one-of-a-kind! I adore bright colors and bold, graphic shapes, and many of my designs are inspired by hard-edge painters like Frank Stella and Ellsworth Kelly.
Well, I think that's all I have for now, but keep checking back for new posts, new designs, and new artwork! Who knows, maybe I'll even post some craft tutorials! Thanks for reading!
